Dr Alex Kusek
Hometown and education
Dr Alex was born and raised in Sioux Falls, graduating from Harrisburg High School and is thrilled to serve the community he grew up in. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska and is a 2017 graduate of University of Nebraska College of Dentisty, where he was awarded with Excellence in Dental Materials.
He also co-authored "Five-Year Retrospective Study with Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy" and conducted his Senior Research Project on the "Analysis of Composite Shear Bond Strength using a Hydroxyapatite Specific Laser" with Dr Edward Kusek and is in the process of publication.
Within his first year of practicing Dr Alex is undertaking over 500 hours of Continuing Education in mini-residency programs to achieve certification to administer IV moderate sedation and to begin his training in placing dental implants.

how did you get into dentistry?
Growing up watching his father practice dentistry, Dr. Alex Kusek has seen the life changing impact that dentistry can have. He has also witnessed the great technological advancements recently in dentistry and is committed to providing dentistry at the highest level.
Similar to his father, Dr Alex always knew he wanted to pursue a field that allowed him to use science and technical hand skills together. Being able to work with patients like they are friends and family throughout their lives provides an even higher sense of reward.

Dr Alex and his wife Gabrielle were married this past winter and are still enjoying honeymoon life.
what are your interests and hobbies?
In his free time Dr Alex enjoys spending time with his wife Gabrielle, going to the gym, keeping up with his favorite sports teams, and watching the latest show on Hulu or Netflix.
